Kidō ("Demon Arts") is a form of Shinigami combat that is based on spells that are produced from strong Reiryoku and fall into three separate categories: Hadō for direct attacks, Bakudō for battle support, and Ishado for restoration. It is one of the techniques in the Zankensoki, the group of Shinigami primary combat skills. Kidō spells are triggered by an incantation. Experienced users can trigger them without an incantation, though the effectiveness of the spell will be diminished. Each spell is graded on a scale from 1 to 99, the higher the number being the most powerful and the most difficult to perform. The scale is a measure of difficulty. To use Kidō, specifically Bakudo and Hadou, a Shinigami must recite the specific incantation for the spell, which is often requires a few seconds to speak. The power of a spell relies on the power of the user, as even a low-level spell can be utterly devastating when utilized by a high-class Shinigami. The reiryoku cost associated with each Kido determines it's intitial strength and the effort required to cast a Kido spell. If your reiryoku just meets the requirements for that Kido spell, they'll only be able to cast that spell once every five posts, requiring their reiryoku to regenerate itself first or they will perform the technique with a half chance of the spell blowing up in their face. As such, your character is also unable to obtain any Kido above their current Kidou level. With Kido, the strength of the spell is determined by its reiryoku cost, and can be overpowered if the target's Hakuda or Reiatsu is at least 30 more than the needed reiryoku. There are three main types of Kidō: binding spells, destruction spells, and healing spells. - Hadō ("Way of Destruction")
Offensive spells that inflict direct damage to the enemy. The effectiveness of a single Hado differs depending on the user. It is said that higher-ranked spells when used by an highranked Shinigami can level cities with a single incantation.
- Bakudō ("Way of Binding")
Spells that either bind or can be used defensively. The effects may seem weaker, but the spells can give their users a tactical advantage when utilized properly. Bakudo are a broad category of defensive spells which block/repel attacks or restrain. Among these class of spells, Binding, Kidō Barriers and Seals are included.
- Chiyudo ("Way Of Restoration")
These spells are an exclusive branch of Kido originally known as Chiyudo, and simply heal the target, often without incantations. When one heals with Chiyudo, they perform Reiryoku restoration first, as majority of Chiyudo is created using the patient's reiryoku. By doing so, one can attempt to recover the physical body using their restored reiatsu and the healers own external reiatsu. Chiyudo is for the most part exclusive to the Fourth Division of the Gotei 6, who specialize in healing Kido.

Hadō ("Way of Destruction")
- 1. 5 Kidou
Shô (Thrust) Pushes the target away from the caster. For every ten difference there is in difference between the user and the target in reiryoku, the target will be pushed back a meter. Push back, repel the common fool.
- 2. 10 Kidou
Spitfire The user conjures an orb like flame of roughly two inches which shoots forward, lighting anything along its path. Upon making contact with an object, the flame will warm the area before dispersing. Firefly, reveal to me that which has been hidden.
- 4. 15 Kidou
Byakurai (Pale Lightning) The user fires a concentrated but small lightning bolt from the tip of their index finger. The volt of lightning can travel up to a meters for every 15 Reiryoku the user has before fizzling out. Tame the fury of Jupiter, call his power to be used by mortal hand.
- 11. 20 Kidou
Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning) Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through.
Through the twisted metal's flow, heed my decree, by burning the hand of the black dog.
- 12. 25 Kidou
Fushibi (Ambush Flare) Fires a red orb five inches in size, which then creates a small concentrated explosion upon impact. The explosion is an inch for every 25 reiryoku the user possesses.
- 31. 60 Kidou
Shakkahō (Red Fire Cannon) Fires a ball of red energy 5 inches in size at a target which then erupts into an explosion of red flames, stretching outward. Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!
- 32. 65 Kidou
Ōkasen (Yellow Fire Flash) Fires a wide arc of yellow energy at the target. The width of the arc is 65 meters.
Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Blasphemy and hubris, the curse takes form. Divines cast down the flames of righteousness.
- 33. 70 Kidou
Sôkatsui (Blue Fire, Crash Down) Fires a foot in circumference burst of blue spiritual energy at a target. The spell stretches outwards up to 70 meters.
Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.
- 54. 90 Kidou
Haien (Abolishing Flames) Fires an three inch blast of purple spiritual energy that will engulf a target completely in sinister black flames upon contact.
The wrath of Pluto engulfs the heart. Fates cut the thread as mortal life turns to dust.
- 58. 100 Kidou
Tenran (Orchid Sky) Gathering around the user's finger a tornado of orchid petals will rotate. Upon pointing it towards the target, the gust increases in size as more orchid petals form, sharp to the touch and capable of slicing through most conventional materials. The torrential outburst of spherical wind and petals is roughly the size of the user and can be targeted up to 100 feet away, before the wind dies down.
Tear apart the whimpering heart of Venus. As her tears fall, let them be cast upon my finger so that her tears form into the petals of unrequited passion.
- 59. 110 Kidou
Kongōbaku ( Adamantine Blast) A blast of spherical, red energy is created at the tip of the finger. Upon pointing, the energy rapidly increases in size and barrels down the direction of the user's finger. The blast will blow through most opposition and even push opponent's and any obstacle along with it, burning the skin.

Gaki Rekkō ( Raging Light Fang) A spell that makes a circle of energy in front of the caster, before firing five blasts of green light from its center in a cage-like formation.
The design of a prison, no captives taken. Clip the wing of the liberated bird.
- 61. 140 Kidou
Hyōga Seiran ( Glacier Vapor Storm) A spell that fires a massive wave of ice capable of freezing its targets and surrounding area.
Breath of the north, fury of the sea. Heart of ice, veins freeze over. Cast aside Ceres and mourn her absence."

Raikôhô (Thunder Roar Cannon) Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.

Sôren Sôkatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down)
Essentially a doubled version of #33 this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.
"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens."
- 88. 220 Kidou
Hiryugekizokushintenraiho (Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon) Fires a gigantic blast of lightning resulting in an truly enormous explosion as it expands on its mark.

- 90. 260 Kidou
Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin) Forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe.
The black gate of the underworld opens, Famine is set loose, Agony and Despair come together at the joining of the crux.
- 91. 280 Kidou
Senjū Kōten Taihō (Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven Culling-Sear) Summons several spears of light that are all fired towards the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating.
The Seraphim call forth their radiance. Truth, Justice, and Temperence. Holy Spirits take flight and wrought your rays through the blasphemic fool.

Bakudō ("Way of Binding")
- 1. 50 Kidou
Sai (Block) Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
Bind the naive fool.
- 4. 55 Kidou
Hainawa (Crawling Rope) An energy rope entangles the target's arms, binding them. The breaking limit is 70 Power. Any more and the bindings will break.
Contort and constrict, fasten around thy foe!
- 7. 60 Kidou
Noren Mekuri (Curtain Stripping) Casting the spell would dissipate all illusions 70 below the user's own Reiryoku, revealing the truth.
- 8. 65 Kidou
Seki (Repulsion) Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it up to a maximum of 40 Power/Reiryoku.
The golden moon glows bright, stunning the mortal realm.
- 9. 70 Kidou
Geki (Strike) Engulfs the target in red light, lowering their Agility by 30.
Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon thyself with horror and then claw out your own throat!

Hōrin (Disintegrating Circle) Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.

Sekienton (Red Smoke Flight) Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb, covering the area.
- 26. 120 Kidou
Kyokkō (Bent Light) Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
The white cat yowls, the black dog cowers, light turns away from substance, lighting itself.
- 30. 130 Kidou
Shitotsu Sansen (Beak-Thrust Tri-Flash) Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle.
- 37. 140 Kidou
Tsuriboshi (Hanging Star) Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net.
- 39. 150 Kidou
Enkōsen (Round Lock Fan) Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks up to 60 Power/Reiryoku over the user's Reiryoku.
- 40. 155 Kidou
Shibireyubi (Numbing Finger) Concentrating reiryoku into the forefinger, it is then jabbed into the opponent, preventing any movement for a single post.
- 58. 160 Kidou
Kakushitsuijaku (Trace-Catching Pursuit Sparrows) Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on.
Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain.

Rikujōkōrō (Six-Staff Light Prison) Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams.

Hyapporankan (Hundred-Step Rail Parch) A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.

Sajō Sabaku (Chainlink Chain Bond) Similar to Bakudō No. 4, but stronger, this spell binds the arms of a target.
- 73. 200 Kidou
Tozanshō (Inverse Mountain Crystal) Creates an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster.
- 75. 215 Kidou
Gochūtekkan (Five-Post Iron Weights) Summons five incredibly tall and thick pillars which are connected to each other by chains to pin a target to the ground.
- 77. 230 Kidou
Tenteikūra (Heavenly Void Net) Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing.
- 79. 260 Kidou
Kuyō Shibari (Nine-Daylight Bonds) Creates eight black holes that emit spiritual energy in the personal space surrounding the target, with a ninth black hole manifesting in the center of the targets chest.
- 81. 285 Kidou
Dankū (Severing Void) Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. Capable of stopping Hadou requiring a reiryoku cost 60 lower than the user of this technique.
- 250 Kidou
Million Escudo (Million Shield) A powerful barrier which can be placed upon a certain area of the body upon activation. Upon being attacked, the hexagonal barrier will activate, covering the designated area up to a maximum circumference of 1/2 meter.
- 95. 260 Kidou
Fūsatsu Kakei (Seal Slaying-Fire Penance) A pair of handcuffs appear on the target's wrists, blocking any reiryoku. Upon using a technique which involves reiryoku, the handcuffs will explode, dealing the damage of the target's reiryoku in full.
- 96. 280 Kidou
Kyūjūrokkei Kakafūmetsu (Ninety-Six Capitol Fire-Suspended Seal Destruction) Requires the target to be weakened before the spell activates. Several sword shaped beams of light, pierce through the target from the inside, forming into a star shaped barrier, engulfing the target.
- 99. 300 Kidou
Kin (Seal) Ties the target's arms on the back in addition to wrapping the spiritual fabric around the entire body, and continues to pin the target with spiritual fabric stacked to the ground around the target with several iron shafts in an "X" shape.
- 99. 320 Kidou
Bankin (Great Seal) (First Song)This spell covers the target from head to toe with spiritual fabric, (Second Song)stabs them with numerous metal bolts (Second Song), (Final Song) smashes them with an immense metal cube (Final Song)

Chiyudo ("Way Of Restoration") - 25 Reiryoku
Reiatsu Restoration By focusing their hands on the torso of the target, the user channels their reiryoku into the target. By doing this, their reiryoku stimulates the reiryoku of the target into restoring itself to its original limit. The target's Reiryoku will be restored to its original level. This in turn sets up for other Chiyudo that requires the user's reiryoku to intiate it
- 50 Reiryoku
Raifu sukyan (Life Scan)
The kido appears as a simple light hue of blue glow in the caster's palms. The kido grants a small layer of reiryoku around the palms of the caster, and when waved over a person, will immediately scan for disturbances to the body. The shade of the bluish glow will become darker when going over any injury that goes against the body's natural harmony and flow. Effects that block reiryoku make the spell obsolete and will not create a response.

Sealing Straps
Upon casting, the hands of the caster glow white and its light is smeared around the wounded part of the body, much like how gauze is applied by human medics. The reiryoku then takes the form of a white layering across the wound, restricting blood flow and preventing contagions from entering the wound.

Purge
The hands are coated in golden reishi as the disturbance is found, for this spell most often disease or a toxin. By running their hands over the target's body, they can push the toxin through the bloodstream towards an open wound, purging the body of the dangerous toxin, chemical or disease.

Coagulate
By bringing their hands across one another, a brief reddish glow will ensue. The target's target's reiryoku along with the user's will then proceed to halt the blood flow over a wound and cause it to coagulate, preventing further loss of blood.

Painkiller
Upon layering the hands, both palms are then placed on the target's forehead, using the combined reiryoku to affect receptors across the body. This will also cause blurriness of the vision when used, but will dull all pain the target feels to a nonexistent, allowing the user to commence surgical procedures.

Reishi Scalpel
Upon conjuring, a bright green scalpel appears on the fingertip of the caster made of pure Reiryoku.The spell basically functions like a common scalpel. It is most useful in places where proper medical equipment is not in the vicinity. Since it is made of pure Reiryoku, its "sharpness" can be adjusted according to the amount of energy focused on the ability although no physical changes are visibly seen. If the caster happens to "lose hold" of the Reiryoku scalpel, it would cause the reiryoku to vanish and in turn the scalpel as well.

Reishi Thread
Upon conjuring, a brigth blue needle appears in the user's fingers. As the needle inserts into the targeted wound, a thread of reishi will soon appear behind it as the user sews the wound shut. This in turn will close the sewn wound and may also be used for organs and any other uses that require a thread and needle.

Fusion
This chiyudo allows the reattachment of lost limbs or the mending of broken bones. First the lost limb is placed on the target's appendage from where it came from. Then by forming open palms around the limb and host, a dark green energy will radiate, restoring the severed reishi link between the two parts. As this is done, the user will then need to sow the limb back on so it can efficiently heal and remend to the body. This may also be done with broken bones and bone fractures without requiring the need to sew them together.

Unnumbered Kido- Hanki (Reverse Demon)
An ability which nullifies an opponent's Kidō by blasting it with the user's reiryoku at a perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even be used to neutralize an opponent's movements. Restrictions: Requires the user to know the ability Shunko
- 300 Reiryoku
Million Escudo (Million Shield) A powerful barrier which can be placed upon a certain area of the body upon activation. Upon being attacked, the barrier will activate, preventing damage up to 100 above the user's own reiryoku. Restrictions: Requires an event to obtain.
- Wasure Kakusui (Forgotten Pyramid )
Upon activation, a large pyramid surrounds the user in a emerald barrier. The pyramid itself can engulf ten other people and is capable of withstanding 100 more than the user's Reiryoku before breaking. Restrictions: Only accessible to 1st Division of the Gotei 13

Forbidden Kido Those below are categorized as Forbidden Kido and are forbidden in their usage while in the Gotei 13 unless severe protocol calls for it. They are only obtainable through exclusive events or through the purchase of a forbidden scroll. Most forbidden Kido are classified as such when properties such as time or space are manipulated on extreme degrees, cause catastrophic damage, or inflicts damage upon the user of the spell.
- 400 Kidou
Ittō Kasō ( Single Blade Cremation) A spell that causes a huge pillar of fire to erupt from the ground in the shape of a katana's tip (500 meters wide by 100 meters). Initiating this Kido will cause a severe burn and melting of the flesh on the arm it was cast with.
The sun bears down on the land, the earth ripped asunder. The blade of Vulcan rises, blotting out the dawn. Wreak your judgement on those deemed unworthy.
- 420 Kidou
Jikanteishi (Temporal Stasis) By forming a barrier in the shape of a box, the user may then engulf anything within, halting time and any movement while within the box. This may even work on reishi based attacks, pausing them while within.
Within my creation, none shall override my abhorrence of the fragile triviality of time. I reject all and all shall cease to move!!!
- 440 Kidou
Kūkanten'i (Spatial Displacement) Kukanteni may teleport a portion of dislocated space anywhere within the user's range of vision, including active reishi based attacks.
Defy the confines of space and bend it to my bidding.
- 500 Kidou
Saishūkeiji (Final Revelation) Initiating this spell, the user's will begin to be covered in tribal runes. By forcefully ripping apart at the user's flesh around the line of each rune, energy will seep out from the tears in the flesh of the user, focusing into a single large pool of reiryoku at their feet. Upon finishing, the pool will cast a sphere around the user in the form of black flames. The sphere will then implode, engulfing everything outward up to 500 meters, expanding 10 meters per second. Anything within the range will see their life flash before their eyes as the first side effect will make them relive their entire life in a moment. The second side effect will commence after the first, and will see the targets caught in the range begin to undergo a method of deterioration as their body erodes away to nothing. The first effect takes up three posts, the second effect beginning after the first three and every post a layer of tissue is eroded away that remains in contact with the sinister black flames. Hair, skin, muscle, then bone will soon turn to dust.
The onset of Armageddon begins the prelude. Behold Death, Famine, Pestilence and War. The four have been conjured to signal the ending of an era.
