Faction Application
Faction Name:
La'Crow Clan
Exclusivity:
Plus residing in the Soul Society, members of the La'Crow family, Shinigami.
Location:
Seireitei, among the other Major Noble houses.
Purpose:
The La'Crow Clan is nobility. Their only purpose, so to speak, is tailoring really. A family with the capability to mend, create, and alter almost anything. They tend to the Shinigami, Noble Families, and will also offer aid to the Rukongai district as well. As far as the family aspect goes, it is run by Armond La'Crow who is also the one that established their name as nobility simply by using his skills as a tailor. The family has a range of prices, but they are all fair. On that note; it isn't uncommon for them to obtain orders that are so exotic that they require material to be provided for them simply to save on cost.
The family is known for their generosity as well, taking in homeless and parentless children from the Rukongai. Currently they have adopted more children than they have actually produced. Something that has gotten them a bit of a rep, but due to the period of which the La'Crows lived in they are rather skilled at ignoring the flapping gums of others.
Hierarchy:
Head of the Family - Armond La'Crow (active)
Next In Line - N/A
Members - A bunch of NPCs.
History:
La'Crow first became known in the Rukongai district, where Armond La'Crow was making clothing for the Rukongai. He provided them with a better set of clothing, mended their current ones, and went out of his way to often obtain fabrics so that poorer families wouldn't have to. His generosity was such that he didn't usually charge for things. Only if you wanted something totally new did he charge. So often, he had free time to make random bits of clothing though that he rarely had to charge anyone anything. Making a living almost purely off of tips from thankful families, is how he got his start.
After a while he was noticed by a noble Captain who happened to be passing by. Armond noticed that his haori was a bit on the downside and offered to fix it. That single moment was his turning point, as from that point on he spent more and more time in the Seireitei among the nobles. He was paid as a personal tailor, mending his family's clothing and soon he was on the lips of other families around the Seireitei. From that point on, he began taking orders from other families, and had his fabric provided for him, allowing him to save up a substantial amount of money. This continued for a short while, all the time he spent with the nobles wasn't solely with them though. He never forgot his place in the Rukongai, but that didn't stop some from resenting him. Eventually his home and workshop were burned down (the ones in the Rukongai) which forced his hand.
Using his influence and money, Armond was able to establish himself as a Lesser Noble House. Of course it was only him at the time, so it wasn't much of a house as much as just a large space for one occupant. Eventually he was joined by his late mother, and together they continued to tend to the nobility's clothing needs. Eventually he was offered the chance to move up in the world. Two heads from the Higher Nobility paid him several visits, over which they expressed their thanks to him and his services. As a reward, they wanted him to join them in the high life. It wasn't much of an upgrade, but it would improve his social status and the status of his family. Armond took the offer, and has never looked back.
